The design looks great (I got the matte version) and it is easy to put my phone inside. BUT... The first time I pulled it from my pocket, it slipped out of my hand. The outside of the case is slick. It just isn't good to hold onto. Pulling it out and/or trying to hold it steady to take a picture is going to cause me to drop it. I switched back to my old case.
the case is protective without being obnoxiously large. however, it is quite slippery and shows fingerprints aggressively. that's half my fault for getting the glossy one, i suppose; i don't know if the matte one is better. the buttons are individually defined cutouts, which is nice, as opposed to the two-volume-buttons-in-one-rocker that a lot of cases do, where it's hard to find which one you want. the cutout for the camera lenses is raised higher than the back, which means that it does not sit flat on its back, and is vaguely annoying. it didn't need to be higher; the thickness of the case is fatter than the lenses protrude from the phone.
so overall, it's fine; i'll keep it on my phone, and it seems that it will last the lifetime of the phone. i may or may not buy another one, but if i do, it'll be matte.
